LG launches the LG Q7, Q7 Plus, and Q7 Alpha, Full Specs

The LG Q7 series has finally been launched in South Korea. Among this series are the LG Q7, Q7 Plus, and Q7 Alpha. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t announced their pricing yet but speculations state that these are budget-friendly phones.

The three devices from the Q7 series all feature a 5.5″ FullVision FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 with 42ppi and an aspect ratio of 18:9. One of their differences lies on their storage capacity. The LG Q7 and Q7 Alpha contains 3GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32GB. On the other hand, the LG Q7 Plus houses 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The fingerprint scanner which also serves as the camera shutter button is positioned at the back of the devices. The three are fueled by a 3,000mAh battery supported by Qualcomm’s Fast Charge and run on Android Oreo.

As for their camera capabilities, both the Q7 and Q7 Alpha sport a 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus. Meanwhile, the Q7 Plus features a 16MP rear camera. In regards to their front camera, the Q7 Alpha has a 5MP sensor with super wide angle lens. The selfie camera of both the Q7 and Q7 Plus will depend on the market. They will either feature an 8MP or 5MP sensor with super wide angle lens. The Q7 smartphones all have AI integration and QLens feature for image recognition.

Additional features of the devices are DTS:X (for virtual 3D surround sound effect), Hi-Fi Quad DAC, and an IP68 certification making these smartphones dust and water resistant.

LG has announced that the LG Q7 series will be shipped to Europe next month and will be launched to other countries afterwards. The LG Q7 and Q7 Plus arrived in the colors –  Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, and Lavender Violet. The Q7 Alpha is only available in Moroccan Blue color.
