Together with the mid-range LG Q60, LG also unveiled its entry-level K-series — the LG K40 and K50. Unlike the Q-series, the two devices sport lower-tiered cameras but retain the 3500mAh battery and the same undefined 2Ghz octa-core mobileĀ processor.
As for the LG K50, it features a 6.26-inch HD+ FullVision display with a teardrop notch. It also has modest innards with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. The camera also settles for a 13MP + 2MP combo for the back while the front makes do with another 13MP sensor.
LG K40 is the cheapest of the bunch — doing away with the notch at 5.7-inch for its HD+ FullVision display. Spec-wise, it comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage and a smaller 3000mAh battery. The cameras won’t impress you by the numbers as it has a single 16MP main camera and an 8MP selfie shooter.
LG’s three latest 2019 mid-range phones feature dedicated Google Assistant button, rear-fingerprint scanners, AI recognition, DTX Surround Sound, and an unnamed octa-core processor. No words yet regarding the prices and official release dates.
