Photograph company Leica has unveiled its third-generation smartphone exclusively in Japan, the Leica Leitz Phone 3. The device is manufactured by Sharp, which explains its Japan-only exclusivity.
The Leitz Phone 3 boasts a Leica camera-like design with its circular camera module. Its main camera has a 1-inch 47.2MP sensor with a 19mm equivalent f/1.9 lens.
Additionally, it is equipped with Summilux 28mm (wide), Summilux 35mm, and Noctilux 50mm lenses. There’s also a variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/8.0.
At the front, it features a 6.6-inch IGZO OLED panel with 1260 x 2730 resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and 2000nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm’s 3.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor with Adreno 740 GPU, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage.
For battery, it packs a 5,000mAh capacity.
