Riot is pulling up some unique stuff for Illaoi, the upcoming new champion for League of Legends and the last champion to be launched this year, as mentioned in our article. With this, Riot introduces us to a very unique interactive experiences overall. Lets dig in and see what lies beyond the Kraken’s shell.
The interactive video, somehow puts you in the shows of a certain pirate captain (as illaoi herself addresses the person) and is being put to three trials of agility, sight and the will to live, personifying the will of those are worthy to be followers of the Kraken. First trial requires the player to follow certain directional paths and draw the correct path. The second one was to merely match the eye of illaoi’s weapon or something on the right track, while the final trial holds the player and death situation, wherein mouse scroll action was the main highlight.
The activities weren’t complicated and the overall theme was somehow intimidating, since when i tried it out, i expected it to simply be a video at first, without much knowledge of it as  a whole. The experience was short lived, only about 10 minutes or so, depending on how many times have you failed and whatnot, which to me, i failed about a couple of times on the first trial, since i really didn’t know what was i going to.

This little interactive video that Riot provided, showcased that they are capable of dishing out new and unique stuff for their players and fans and we’re looking forward to a few new surprises from them next year.
