Launch Details for the OPPO Reno 8 Series Europe

The Reno 8 series was launched in May 2022 by OPPO in the domestic Chinese market. OPPO will launch the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro in India this month (known as the Reno 8 Pro+ in China). European markets, however, have yet to receive the smartphone.

 

Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has confirmed that the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro devices will come with the following pricing, storage configurations, and color options through a tweet. Let’s take a look!

The vanilla Reno 8 will be available in a single configuration of 8GB+256GB and priced at €513 (around ₱29,000)Two color options will be available for this device: Shimmer Black & Shimmer Gold

A single 8GB+256GB configuration of the Reno 8 Pro will also be available for €873 (around 49,000). A Glazed Black and Glazed Green color option will be offered. 

Furthermore, the device spec sheet is identical to what was released earlier for the Indian variant.

With a 6.43-inch AMOLED display and a 90Hz refresh rate, the vanilla Reno 8 has a collection that has a resolution of 1080p. Aside from this, Reno 8 has the same features as Reno 8 Pro, and it also has a 4,500mAh battery pack with a fast charging capability of up to 80W.

Front-facing sensors of the Reno 8 series offer 32MP for selfies.

The vanilla variant also has a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP secondary shooter. An 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50MP primary camera can all be found on the Reno 8 Pro. Front-facing sensors of the Reno 8 series offer 32MP for selfies.

Reno 8 Pro will feature a larger AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

MediaTek Dimensity 1300 is the SoC used in the base model of this smartphone. What’s worth mentioning is that MediaTek Dimensity 8100 MAX chipset powers this device. Additionally, the company includes the MariSilicon X NPU in the higher-end model, which is meant to enhance the quality of images generated by the device. The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery pack capable of fast charging up to 80W. It also features an integrated fingerprint scanner that can access through the touchscreen.

An 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 50MP primary camera can all be found on the Reno 8 Pro.
