The iQOO 12 series is scheduled for an official launch in China today, November 7, 2023, at 7 pm local time. Surprisingly, just ahead of the official launch, details regarding the phone’s pricing have emerged on JD.com.
According to the screenshot provided, the iQOO 12 series will have a starting price of 4,299 Yuan (approximately PHP33, 100) and will be available for purchase from November 14.
Reports suggest that the base model of the iQOO 12 will offer 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Therefore, the price mentioned likely corresponds to the iQOO 12’s 12GB+256GB variant.
This revelation has generated significant interest among netizens. Some are skeptical, suggesting that this price might be a diversion to conceal the actual cost of the new device. However, it seems that the price is likely accurate, as the Xiaomi 14’s 12GB+256GB variant carries a similar price.
Also, vivo’s parent company, iQOO, is preparing to unveil the vivo X100 series in China on November 13.
While the vivo X100 and X100 Pro will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chipset, the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
