Apple announces the new Apple iPad 8th generation and iPad Air 2020 with both tablets supporting the Apple Pencil 1st gen. and 2nd gen., respectively.

The iPad Air brings a flat-sided design like the upcoming iPhone 12. It also features 10.9-inch display with support to Apple 2nd generation Pencil and keyboard. The iPad Air 2020 is powered by A14 chip that brings 40% increased CPU performance and 30% GPU power over the previous iPad Air.

The port on iPad Air 2020 is USB C and supports 20W fast charging with the adapter included in the box. It has a fingerprint scanner embedded on the power button while the camera shoots 4K 60fps through the 12MP main. The front selfie is a 7MP HD sensor.

Storage starts at 64GB for WiFi model at P33,990. The cellular model is priced starting at P41,990.

iPad 8th gen brings A12 processor for P18,990 price

The new iPad 8th generation features a faster processor and better graphics, thanks to the A12 Bionic chipset. It also now supports Apple Pencil 1st generation and compatible with Smart Keyboard. This is aimed at students and teachers with all-day battery capacity.

You can get the new iPad 8th gen. starting at P18,990 price for the WiFi model and P26,990 for the SIM card-compatible model–all with 64GB storage.
