Apple has released the fourth beta of iOS 26.4 for developers and public beta testers.
The update introduces several new emoji characters and some minor changes.
The new emojis include a trombone, treasure chest, distorted face, hairy creature, fight cloud, orca, and landslide.
There are also new skin tone options for people wrestling and dancers with bunny ears, along with a gender-neutral version of the ballet dancer emoji.
In addition, Apple renamed its accessibility setting “Reduce Highlighting Effects” to Reduce Bright Effects, which lowers the brightness and flashing of onscreen elements like buttons and the keyboard.
The beta also removes the RCS end-to-end encryption feature that was tested in earlier betas.
Apple said full RCS encryption for iPhone-to-Android messages will arrive in a future update.
iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4 beta 4 are now available for the new iPhone 17e and M4 iPad Air.
