iOS 26.3 Now Officially Available

iOS 26.3

Apple has officially released the iOS 26.3 update, with a wide range of security updates for supported iPhones.

According to Apple’s security notes, iOS 26.3 fixes vulnerabilities affecting several system components, including the Kernel, WebKit, CoreServices, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, CFNetwork, ImageIO, and more.

One of the notable patches addresses a memory corruption issue in dyld (CVE-2026-20700) that could allow arbitrary code execution.

Apple said it is aware of a report that this vulnerability may have been exploited in a highly sophisticated attack targeting specific individuals on versions of iOS before iOS 26.

The update also resolves multiple Kernel flaws that could allow a malicious app to gain root privileges, cause unexpected system termination, or intercept network traffic.

Several WebKit issues were fixed as well. These could have led to Safari crashes, denial-of-service attacks, or user tracking through web extensions.

In addition, Apple addressed privacy-related issues where apps could access sensitive user data, bypass certain privacy settings, or break out of sandbox restrictions. Some vulnerabilities required physical access to a locked device and could expose personal information.

The update is available for iPhone 11 and later models. Users with supported devices are advised to install iOS 26.3 to receive the latest security protections.

Storage requirements for the update may vary depending on the device and the current iOS version installed. Some users reported the update size reaching up to around 11GB, while others only needed nearly 500MB to download and install it.

The update is now available in the Philippines and other regions.
