Let’s skip the introductions and get straight to testing the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ for gaming!
We covered its specs before which you can watch here, so now it’s time to see how it performs in real gameplay.
We tested five popular games to see if this phone could be the next go-to choice for gamers on a budget.
Settings: Super Frame Rate, Ultra Graphics
The Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ handled Mobile Legends really well. The game ran smoothly with no lag or delays, and even after an hour of gaming, the phone stayed cool.
If you’re planning to play for long sessions, lowering the graphics a bit might help save battery, but overall, Mobile Legends fans will enjoy gaming on this phone.
Settings: High Graphics, Medium Resolution, 120 FPS (custom settings)
League of Legends: Wild Rift ran smoothly on the HOT 50 Pro+. Unlocking the 120 FPS option made gameplay look even better, although it had to be paired with medium resolution.
After about an hour, the phone felt a bit warm, but nothing too serious. Wild Rift fans can expect a smooth and enjoyable experience on this device.
Settings: Medium Graphics, High Frame Rate
Call of Duty Mobile was a good experience overall. It played well on medium graphics, though there were some frame drops and a little stutter during long gaming sessions.
The phone warmed up a bit after a few rounds, but it stayed manageable. For a budget device, this level of performance is quite good.
Settings: Lowest Graphics, 60 FPS
Genshin Impact is a heavy game, and while the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ managed to run it, there were some frame drops, especially during fights.
We used the lowest graphics settings and set it to 60 FPS. Though not flawless, it was still decent for an entry-level phone. The device did heat up a bit, but for the price, this performance is acceptable.
Settings: Lowest Graphics
Wuthering Waves was tough for the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+. The game had a few stutters even before starting and struggled to keep up during combat.
Increasing the frame rate didn’t fix all the performance issues, and the graphics quality wasn’t great. This game is a challenge for the phone, showing that it handles casual games better than heavy, graphics-intensive titles.
The Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage is priced at PHP 8,499.
It delivers good gaming performance for casual and competitive games. It doesn’t perform perfectly on heavy games like Genshin Impact or Withering Waves, but it’s solid for Mobile Legends, Wild Rift, and other popular games.
There are minor heating issues and frame drops, but for the price, this is a strong option for gamers on a budget.
