Rockstar Games has announced that pre-loading for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) will begin on November 10, 2026, ahead of its scheduled November 19 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
On PlayStation 5, digital pre-loading will start at midnight on November 10 based on the user’s local time zone. Meanwhile, Xbox Series X|S users can begin downloading the game globally at 12:00 AM GMT on the same date.
The game will require up to 212GB of storage space, depending on the console. Players should prepare enough storage before the pre-load period begins.
Physical code-in-box versions for both consoles are also expected to become available at retailers starting November 12.
Rockstar Games also confirmed that a printable GTA VI cover art poster and a map of Leonida will be available as free digital downloads on its official website starting November 19. A physical, double-sided version of the poster will also be sold through the Rockstar Store for USD 0.99 or included as a gift with any purchase from the store.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
