
HUAWEI has officially unveiled a new foldable smartphone in China, the HUAWEI Pura X. This time, it looks different from your usual foldable. The Pura X features a 16:10 aspect ratio, making it look more like a mini tablet than a smartphone. What else does it offer? Find out below.
The Pura X comes with an internal screen of 6.3 inches OLED and an external screen of 3.5 inches LTPO OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features 2120 × 1320 pixels and 980 × 980 pixels respectively, and a peak brightness of 2,500 nits.
As for the cameras, it houses 50MP main, 40MP ultra-wide, and 8MP telephoto. On the front, it offers a 10.7MP ultra-wide-angle camera for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, Kirin 9020 is what powers the device paired with 12 GB RAM and choices of 256 GB and 512 GB ROM. HUAWEI also unveils a HUAWEI Pura X Collector’s Edition, which includes 16 GB RAM with 512 GB or 1 TB internal storage.
Battery-wise, it is packed with a 4720mAh battery including 66W wired and 40W wireless charging.
HUAWEI Pura X is now listed on HUAWEI’s website in China. The 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 7,499 (approximately PHP 59,269), while the 12GB + 512GB model costs CNY 7,999 (around PHP 63,271).
If you’re looking for more RAM, the 16GB + 512GB version is available for CNY 8,999 (about PHP 71,178), and the highest 16GB + 1TB variant is priced at CNY 9,999 (roughly PHP 79,084).
