HUAWEI has officially announced the HUAWEI MatePad Air 2025, available in a standard version and a Soft Light Edition.
The Soft Light model uses nano-etching technology to reduce screen flash points by 50% and includes a “Cloud Clear Soft Light” display to lessen glare and improve clarity.
Both versions feature a 12-inch LCD screen with a 2800 × 1840 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 1000nits brightness.
At the back, the tablet offers a 50MP main camera. For productivity, HUAWEI’s apps now integrate with its Xiaoyi AI assistant for tasks like document summarization, translation, and formula recognition.
Inside, it is powered by the Kirin 9 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and choices of 256GB or 512GB internal storage.
The MatePad Air 2025 is also packed with a 10100mah battery with 66W wired charging.
The MatePad Air 2025 also runs on HarmonyOS 5 operating system and includes a six-speaker system, Wi-Fi 7, and NearLink support.
The HUAWEI MatePad Air 2025 starts at CNY 2,999 (around PHP 24,299) for the standard 12GB + 256GB model, CNY 3,399 (around PHP 27,599) for the 12GB + 512GB model.
Meanwhile, CNY 3,299 (around PHP 26,799) for the Soft Light 12GB + 256GB version, and CNY 3,699 (around PHP 29,999) for the Soft Light 12GB + 512GB variant.
