
HUAWEI has announced the launch of its latest tri-fold smartphone in China, the HUAWEI Mate XTs. It is the successor to last year’s Mate XT, which is the world’s first commercial tri-fold smartphone.

The HUAWEI Mate XTs boasts a 10.2-inch folding LTPO OLED display with 3K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Its panel features a 16:11 aspect ratio and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. It also retains the stylus support from its predecessor.
Powering the device inside is the 7nm Kirin 9020 octa-core processor with Maroon 920 GPU, 16GB RAM, up to 1TB internal storage, and a 5,600mAh battery capacity with 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging support.
Camera-wise, it is equipped with a 50MP main sensor with variable aperture and OIS, a 40MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 12MP periscope telephoto lens with 5.5x optical zoom and OIS. Upfront is an 8MP selfie camera.


The HUAWEI Mate XTs will be available in China on September 12th. There’s no word yet on its global availability.
