The Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design was recently seen in the Unified Register of Notifications. This hints that the device might be launched soon in Russia. The notification is expected to include details such as the cryptographic algorithm used by the product, the respective key size and cryptographic protocol.
The Mate RS notification showed in public in the EAEU portal on May 22 but it was originally registered on May 14. This confirms that the Huawei Mate RS Porsche design has been approved to be sold in Russia. This smartphone would be the first-ever luxury phone that will be sold in the mentioned country.
The Mate RS features a 6.0″ FullView OLED notched display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440. The device is powered by the Kirin 970 along with 6GB of RAM and 256/512GB of internal storage. As for its camera setup, it will sport triple rear cameras.
The device is expected to have a price around 1,695 euros (Php 104,286) According to speculations the final price in Russia may be lower than the mentioned price. As of now, the official date for its launch is still not known.
