After its announcement for a local launch, the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro is now available in Malaysia as its first international market.
The device was originally introduced in China in November 2025 alongside other Mate 80 series models. So far, only the Pro variant is being released globally.
In Malaysia, the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro features a 6.75-inch LTPO OLED display with a 2832 × 1280 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness.

It also supports 1440Hz PWM dimming and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The screen is protected by second-generation Kunlun Glass.
HUAWEI has not yet confirmed the chipset used in the global version, but in China, the 16GB + 512GB model runs on the Kirin 9030 Pro processor.
For cameras, the device has a 13MP front camera capable of 4K video recording. At the back, it uses a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 40MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP macro telephoto camera. It supports 4x optical zoom, up to 100x digital zoom, and 8K video recording.
The phone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance too.

It is powered by a 5,750mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.

In Malaysia, the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro is offered in a single 16GB + 512GB configuration, and is priced at RM 3,999 (around PHP61,000).
Meanwhile, HUAWEI has confirmed that the Mate 80 Pro will officially launch in the Philippines this April. Local pricing and availability details have yet to be announced, but the Malaysian pricing and specs give a rough idea of what to expect once it arrives in the country.
