Huawei Mate 8 Leaked Specs; Kirin 950 Chipset and 3GB or 4GB of RAM

huawei mate 8 specs philippines features

The Huawei Mate 8 looks like a beastly device overall, as specs of the device got recently leaked. What more can we expect from Huawei’s upcoming flagship? Lets find out more about these beastly specs and features and dig in deeper.

The first thing that caught our attention was its massive 6-inch 1440p QHD display, which is actually impressive. The self-developed Kirin 950 chip is promised to deliver a lot more than what the Exynos 7420 and Snapdragon 810 has and by the looks of it, we think it can surpass the said chips. The chipset packs one heck of a powerful drive into it thanks to its 16nm FinFET production process, with support of the big.LITTLE architecture. The latter also packs a pretty neat ARM Mali-T880, which has a few back up on its sleeves, such as an i7-coprocessor, as well as an independent audio chip of Tensilica Hi-Fi 4. The devices promises options as it can be either a 3GB of RAM, with 32GB internal storage variant, or a 4GB of RAM, with 64GB of internal storage variant.

The device is expected to be priced at around CNY 3,199 or roughly Php 23K for the 32GB variant, while the 64GB variant is expected to be priced at around CNY 3,899 or around Php 28K converted PH price. The Mate 8 is expected to be official on or before late November or early December.
