Huawei has finally confirmed the latest Mate 20 series launch date which is set to unveil in London on October 16.

As for the speculations that surfaced, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is expected to come with a 6.9-inch OLED display while the toned down version Mate 20 is said to feature a smaller 6.3-inch AMOLED display.

Under the hood, it was confirmed that the Mate 20 series will be powered by Kirin 980, which is the first 7nm silicon chipset boasting an octa-core setup. It will give a smartphone a 20% better performance and 40% battery efficiency.
Other than that, leaks also suggest that Mate 20 Pro is expected to house a dual 20MP + 12MP dual camera with an 8MP front-facing camera.
