HUAWEI, GCash Roll Out Watch Pay Support for iOS Users

HUAWEI has expanded GCash Watch Pay to iOS, allowing iPhone users to make QR code payments directly from their HUAWEI smartwatches and fitness bands. The feature was previously only available on Android and HUAWEI phones.

With GCash Watch Pay, users can generate a QR code on their watch and scan it at partner merchants. This makes it possible to pay for transport, food, or shopping without bringing cash or a wallet.

• HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3 & 4 Series
• HUAWEI WATCH D2
• HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate
• HUAWEI WATCH 5 (coming soon)
• HUAWEI Band 10
• Future HUAWEI wearables

How to Setup?

1. Install the HUAWEI Health app and sign in with a HUAWEI ID (region: Philippines).
2. Connect your smartwatch to the app.
3. Make sure your GCash account is verified.
4. On the smartwatch, go to Settings > Payment and install the GCash app.
5. Open the app, enter your GCash PIN, and scan the QR code from your phone to link.

Once linked, payments can be made straight from the watch on iOS, Android, and HUAWEI devices.
