HTC U11 Plus could be announced at November 2 event

Prepare yourselves as HTC had already sent out invites for an event to be held in Taipei on November 2nd. In which, the rumored HTC U11 successor, the HTC U11 Plus could be unveiled. Aside from that, the HTC U11 Life is also speculated to be launched as well.

Moving on, the invite emphasizes a large U at the center, hinting to a new addition to HTC’s U-series. The invite also includes the date and time. The HTC U11 Plus is rumored to have a 5.99-inch 18:9 display of Quad HD+ (1440×2880 pixels) resolution with a Snapdragon 835 chipset.

Other HTC U11 Plus specs include a 12MP rear camera with OIS, UltraSpeed auto-focus, f/1.7 aperture paired with an 8MP front camera. There will be two options: either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB and/or 128GB of built-in storage.

Cher Wang, Chairwoman, and CEO of HTC clearly stated during the acquisition announcement that they are actively preparing for the new flagship device launch, despite the deal with Google.
