So What is the Reading List?
Since your bookmarks can quickly become cluttered, this list is intended solely for reading or viewing information, as the name implies. However, here is a brief summary of what you should know about this practical feature.
Reading List can be used even in offline mode. It will download the web pages so that you can read them if the internet is down. Since you are offline, you won’t be encountering Advertisements and videos.
How do I view my Google Chrome reading list?
Quick side note, Chrome for Android doesn’t have a Reading List. Although, you can still save web pages for offline viewing.
The following instructions work similarly on Windows, macOS, or Linux. You may access all of your saved pages at any moment by visiting this Reading list. You can also mark a page as read or unread by checking the box next to it.
Step 1: Go to the toolbar in the top-right corner.
Step 2: Click the Show Side Panel icon that is located to the left of your Chrome profile icon. The icon resembles a little square. The webpage you are currently viewing will launch a side window called Reading List.
Step 3: You can click the icon and select view your bookmarks or your reading list.
Step 4: Click the X next to the Reading List to close it.
As for iOS devices, Open the Chrome app on your iPhone, then tap the three dots in the bottom-right corner. Tap on the Reading List under the menu options. You can examine Pages You’ve Read or Unread depending on whether you have pages on the list. 
How to Add a Webpage on a Reading List
You can quickly add a web item to reading lists, which are practical to use. They are available for offline or online viewing. If you’re using a PC or an Android phone, you must download the page in order to see it offline. Let’s look at adding a web article to the Reading list now that you are aware of its location.
Step 1: Visit any website that you want to save for offline viewing.
Step 2: Next, click on the Show Side Panel icon.
Step 3: From there, click the Add Current Tab. 
Step 4: To view any page, simply click on it from the Reading list.
Another option is to right-click the tab and select the Add tab to reading list.
You must follow these procedures in order to see the same website on your PC when it is offline
For you to open the same website on your PC when you are currently offline, all you need to do is go to the three dots on the top right corner of Windows Chrome, from there go to more tools, then save the page. You can also press Ctrl+S for a much easier and faster way of saving pages.
Open the desired website on an iPhone. In the lower right corner of the screen, tap the More symbol. Select Add to Reading List after that. In contrast to Android, adding a web page to your iPhone’s Reading list causes the page to be downloaded immediately, and you’ll also see a success notification that says, “Added to Reading List.” Therefore, you may also view it offline.
