Post-dinner math trouble? GCash‘s “Kanya Kanyang Bayad” (KKB) feature lets your group split the bill or pay for individual orders without math or change.
The tool helps you plan and track payment requests and dues for food bills, entertainment, family, friends, gifts, shopping, transit, travel, utilities, and other activities.
Your gang doesn’t have to bother about change or writing down amounts.
Before making a KKB request, be sure you’re dealing with trusted folks. GCash can digitize bill splitting but cannot pursue non-payers.

How to Use GCash KKB Feature?
Open the GCash app and press the “View All” button.
Scroll down until you see “Enjoy” and tap “KKB.“
Tap “New KKB request” and choose the type of transaction. We’ll use food for this example.

Set the date by which the payment is due. If you need the payment right away, you can choose today as the due date. If everyone in your group agrees on a specific date, you can set it.
Choose type split. You can choose “split by item” if each of you ordered your meal. If you decide on dishes for a group, you can choose to “split equally.”
Next, add the people who have to pay. You can get their numbers from your contacts or type them in yourself. You can also use the GCash to make and save groups, which will make splitting payments more manageable in the future.
If you choose to split by item, GCash will ask the person who set up the KKB to figure out how much each person should pay. If the person ordered a meal and a drink, you could add it to the breakdown by tapping the “+” button.
After the amounts are set, the app will show a summary of how much each person has to pay and the total amount the group transaction will cost.
If you choose to split equally, the app will ask for the total amount and divide it by the number of people in the party.
Once the requests have been made, they appear under the “Active” tab, which says “unpaid” next. If they take a long time to pay, you can remind them, and GCash will remind them to pay.
If your friend pays you in cash, you can mark the KKB request as paid by hand, and it will move to the “Completed” tab.
Once the payment is made, the person who made the KKB request will get the money and a notice of charge.
