Installing Android applications and games from sources other than the Google Play Store is surprisingly simple. Sideloading is what this is known as, and it’s doable on any Android device. Before beginning, there are a few things you should be aware of.

Why Sideloading Is Disabled by Default?

Before we begin, let’s discuss the rationale for sideloading’s default disabling. To ensure that the applications and games you download are secure, the Google Play Store has security procedures in place. It’s not perfect, but it’s still a really good method.

You get around some of those procedures when you sideload an app or game from somewhere other than the Play Store. Detecting malware and other problems with sideloaded apps are possible with Google Play Protect, but it’s still not as safe as downloading from the official store.

For this reason, if you decide to download applications and games from places other than the Play Store, it’s crucial to be sure they come from reliable sources. We always sideload from APK Mirror, thus we strongly urge you to do the same. APKs and APK Bundles are the two sorts of files you may discover on APK Mirror; we’ll teach you how to use both.
