HONOR recently launched a new rugged mid-range smartphone in Malaysia, the HONOR X9e Pro, bringing in two standout features: a massive 11,000mAh battery and a 10,000-nit display. Check it out!
With its enormous 11,000mAh battery, the HONOR X9e can stream music for over 164 hours, play short-form videos for 35 hours, and play regular videos for well over 66 hours, according to the brand’s lab tests. This massive capacity is made possible by silicon-carbon anode battery technology, with HONOR promising a six-year battery health expectancy with an average use of 6 hours per day.
It also supports 80W wired charging and 27W reverse charging.
Meanwhile, the device sports a 6.8-inch LTPS AMOLED with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 10,000 nits peak brightness. The screen features 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Durability features include SGS 5 Stars certified for drop resistance, along with water and dust resistance ratings of IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. It is claimed to withstand drops from up to 3 meters, while it can be submerged to depths of up to 10 meters under controlled conditions.
Powering the X9e Pro inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 octa-core processor with Adreno 812 GPU, paired with 8GB of RAM (expandable up to 24GB via HONOR’s RAM Turbo technology) and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Camera-wise, it is equipped with a 108MP main rear sensor with OIS and CIPA 6.0 stabilization, a 5MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 16MP front-facing camera.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, dual Nano-SIM support, and 5G network.
It runs on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Available colors are Royal Purple, Midnight Black, Dawn Gold, and Reddish Brown.
Pricing and Availability
The HONOR X9e Pro is priced starting at MYR 1,899 (~PHP 29,060) for the 8GB + 256GB model, while the 8GB + 512GB version costs MYR 2,399 (~PHP 36,712). It will be available for pre-order in Malaysia starting October 8, while it is confirmed for a global rollout.
