HONOR is reportedly developing a new smartphone with a massive 10,000 mAh battery—the HONOR Power 2.

The device is currently in development, with its key specifications undergoing certification.

Based on reports, the brand has certified a 10,000mAh battery, which is likely for the Power 2 model. The battery has an original capacity of 9,886mAh, with a typical value of 10,000mAh.

An HONOR phone with that capacity has also been circulating online for a long while, and would feature a 6.79-inch display and offer a significant performance improvement.

Aside from the 10,000mAh phone, tipster Digital Chat Station from Weibo also shared details about the upcoming HONOR phones and their chipsets. The company is allegedly testing new mid-range models with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and Dimensity 8500 processors.

The specific HONOR models that will equip these processors are not specified, but online speculation suggests the standard Honor 500 to use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, while the Power 2 may debut with the Dimensity 8500 chip.

There’s no word yet for the exact release date. Stay tuned for more updates.
