Honor 10 GT revealed, features 8GB RAM, Kirin 970 chipset

Last April, Huawei sub-brand officially launched the Honor 10 exclusive only in mainland China and a month ago after its release, it arrived in the Philippines.

Honor 10 GT also comes with a latest GPU Turbo and tripod-free Night mode update out of the box. These are just the major changes of the upcoming device, the rest were just like the Honor 10.

The Honor 10 features a 5.84″ Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 and with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The device is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 along with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB internal storage. It is fueled by a 3,400mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.

As for its camera setup, the Honor 10 sports a dual 16MP color camera + 24MP monochrome camera with PDAF, Dual Tone LED flash and AI Camera. It also houses a 24MP front camera.

According to an event held in China, its new GPU Turbo gets 60% increase while the power usage is lowered by 30%. Also, the Mali-G72 MP12 will be able to create better night shots.

The update is currently in beta version and will soon roll out to all smartphones.

As of now, its price tag is still unknown, but it is said to appear on flash sale on July 4 at Honor’s online store and JD.com.

For the Honor 10, the 64GB variant is priced at €399.90 (approx. Php 24,000) and the 128GB variant might be priced at €449.90 (approx. Php 28,000).
