
HMD Global has introduced a new budget smartphone, the HMD Key.
The device comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display offering a 60Hz refresh rate and 460 nits of brightness.
The device’s power source is the UNISOC SC9832E SoC, which is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Storage is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card, and an additional 2GB of virtual RAM can be added.
Camera features include an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera for selfies.
A 4,000mAh battery supports 10W charging. It also runs on Android 14 Go Edition.
The HMD Key has been launched in select regions, including the UK, New Zealand, and Australia, and it costs GBP 59 (approximately PHP4,299).
