High-end chipset for MediaTek goes official
After the latest announcement of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, it’s now MediaTek’s turn to out their high-end chipset.
Introducing the MediaTek Helio X23 and X27, both are the latest upgrades from the previous Helio X20 that brings better overall performance including camera and lower battery consumption.
Better camera processing and save 15% battery
Both chipsets are using ten cores utilizing tri-clustered architecture with two ARM Cortex-A72 cores and eight Cortex-A53 cores and save up to 15% power.
Helio X27 is clocked at 2.6GHz with 875MHz for the GPU and said to be offering 20% improvement from the Helio X25. Its camera capabilities have improved image signal processor for better results and added support for dual-camera setup.
We might see smartphones running the new high-end chipset from MediaTek in early 2017.
