Microsoft has officially announced a new Halo game, Halo Infinite, during the annual E3 event. The company has stated that the game will feature the new Slipspace Engine, created by 343 Industries solely for Halo.
- Devil May Cry 5: To arrive on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in 2019
- Far Cry 5 DLC: Hours of Darkness will be released on June 5
Players have complained in the past about the lack of screentime of Master Chief in Halo 5. In order to address this, the company decided that Halo Infinite will focus on Master Chief’s story on what happened after Guardians. As shown by Master Chief’s helmet, the game will also sport a brand-new art style that’s more modern.
Microsoft didn’t hesitate in giving some teasers during the event. They mentioned that multiple easter eggs can be spotted on Halo Infinite’s trailer. Unfortunately, they haven’t revealed a lot of information about the game itself.
Halo Infinite will be available for preorder soon as listings of the game have started going online.
