Google Unveils New Gemini AI Tools at I/O 2026

At its I/O 2026 event, Google introduced several new artificial intelligence (AI) tools and updates focused on media creation, productivity, and AI-powered assistants.

One of the announcements was Gemini Omni, a new AI model that can generate videos and other media using text, photos, and video clips as inputs. Google said the tool will first launch with video output support in the Gemini app, Flow, and YouTube.

Google also introduced Gemini 3.5 Flash, which the company described as its fastest and most advanced coding and AI agent model so far. According to Google, the model is designed to complete tasks faster while reducing computing costs.

Daily Brief is also announced, a Gemini app feature that summarizes schedules and priorities, and Gemini Spark, an AI assistant that can proactively handle tasks such as monitoring subscriptions from billing statements.

Another update was Neural Expressive, a redesigned Gemini app interface featuring new animations, typography, colors, and haptic feedback.

Google also introduced Antigravity 2.0, a desktop application that allows multiple AI agents to work on different tasks simultaneously, such as coding and creating design assets in parallel.

Google said the new AI tools and features will roll out gradually worldwide.
