Google has introduced new beta features for its Gemini AI in Google Workspace applications like Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive.
In Google Docs, Gemini can now draft documents from scratch, refine sections, and match writing style or document format.

Users can also create personalized drafts using information from emails or files, such as travel details or meeting notes.
Meanwhile, in Google Sheets, the AI can build entire spreadsheets from a single prompt, including checklists, tables, dashboards, and trackers.

It can also fill in missing data, summarize information, and access real-time information from Google Search.
As for Google Slides, Gemini can generate fully editable slides, adjust designs, and will soon be able to create entire presentation decks from a single prompt.

It can pull context from files, emails, and the web to match themes and formatting.
Lastly, for Google Drive, the “Ask Gemini” feature allows users to search using natural language and receive summaries of relevant documents. It can also answer complex questions across files, emails, and calendar entries.

The new features are available in beta starting Mar 10, 2026, for Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers.
They are available globally in English for Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and in the U.S. for Drive. Google plans to expand access and languages over time.
