According to Android Headlines, the Google Pixel 9a will feature a 6.285-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 2424 x 1080 resolution, 422.2PPI, 120Hz refresh rate, 2700nits peak brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Under the hood, it will be powered by the Google Tensor G4 octa-core processor with Titan M2 security chip, 8GB LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

For battery, it will pack a 5,100mAh battery capacity with 23W wired charging support. It is slightly larger than the Pixel 8a’s battery capacity.

Moreover, the Google Pixel 9a is expected to come with a 48MP GN8 Quad Dual Pixel main camera, with an aperture of f/1.7. It will be accompanied by a 13MP Sony IMX712 ultra-wide shooter with f/2.2 aperture. Upfront is a 13MP selfie camera housed in a punch-hole notch.

For connectivity, it will support 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and eSIM.

The Google Pixel 9a will be slightly taller and wider than its predecessor with a dimension of 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9mm and will weigh 185.9g.

Other leaked specs include Dual stereo speakers, IP68 dust and water resistance, under-display fingerprint scanner, and Android 15 with 7 years of updates.

It will be available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony colorways.

Pricing and Availability

The Google Pixel 9a is expected to start at USD 499 (~PHP 29,263). It is rumored to be released next year around March.
