Google Pixel 2, 2 XL rendered images leaked
Next week is the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL’s official launch. However, leaks and photos were rampant that both smartphones not having a 3.5mm headphone jack and utilize an E-sim as well.
The Google Pixel 2 base model is rumored to sport an FHD 1080p screen while the 2 XL will have a QHD resolution. Yet, both will feature Wide Color Gamut and have Gorilla Glass 5 as protection. Rated as IP67 water resistance, the smartphones are expected to house the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset.

Shown in the leaked images are dual stereo speakers up front. Both the Google Pixel 2 and 2 XL is also seen to boast E-Sim card slot and Android O. Inside is speculated to be around 64 or 128GB of storage. It is still unknown whether both will have a single or dual camera. But it is said that both will be equipped with a Google Imaging Chip and OIS.
Lastly, the base Google Pixel 2 is powered by 2,700mAh battery while its big brother XL will have a 3,520mAh battery. Interestingly, both are also expected to be donned with the Active Edge feature to launch the Google Assistant.
Consumers who will buy the smartphones are also entitled to free unlimited Google Cloud storage until 2023. Regarding the price, the Google Pixel 2 is expected to cost around $649 while the Xl with $749. The official launch will happen on October 4, so stay tuned for updates!
