It seems that people down on Google HQ have a lot of humour than we thought. Google themselves took it upon themselves to make things a bit “funny” on Gmail with “the mic drop” feature, but eventually tore it down due to people mistaking it as the regular send button and was able to send funny gifs on official job-related emails. Nevertheless, it seems that wasn’t the only thing Google was offering for April 1st.

Just about a day ago, Google introduced the so-called “Google Cardboard Plastic via a video uploaded on their Youtube channel. The device is said to redefine virtual reality and surpass it, playing things into “actual” reality. The video looks very presentable and serious and knowing that the video was mainly made just for fun makes it all the better.
