Just for the year of 2016, Globe was able to block 165M spam messages with an average of 200,000 blocked messages a day.
All thanks to its automated structured system that filters up to 1billions SMS a day.
In addition, 1700 prepaid numbers were already deactivated and proved to have been used for spamming.
Even with the continuous tremendous effect of the Anti-spamming system, Globe cited that it “remains committed to further stepping up our drive against spammers to keep our network consistently free of these annoying and unwanted messages”.
