Today, Gionee has officially announced that they will hold an event on April 26. The company is also planning on launching a new device in this event. Rumor has it that they might release the Gionee S11.
Gionee announced the event on their official Twitter page. The image mentioned the date, April 26, and stated that it will be held in India. The teaser only showed the upper part of the device as well.
Speculations have stated that Gionee might launch the Gionee S11. The Gionee S11 was supposed to be available in India on January 11 but was unable to. The device is expected to feature 5.99” FHD+ FullView display. It is powered by the Helio P23 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64GB. The handset is also fueled by a 3,410mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. Its key feature is the smartphone’s camera setup with dual front and rear cameras – 16MP + 5MP main camera and 16MP and 8MP front cameras.
This is still a speculation and may be false since it was also reported that Gionee is working on a new flagship. The company also released a new teaser regarding their new brand ambassadors.
