GCash Users Report Unauthorized Transactions

Numerous GCash users have taken to social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and Reddit, to report alleged unauthorized transactions on their accounts.

The issue emerged last night, with affected users sharing posts and photos, sharing a screenshot with a text, “All money was claimed.”

The incident has drawn significant attention, with Filipina actress and TV host Pokwang also posting on Instagram to express her concerns after discovering that a total of PHP85,000 had been taken from her balance.

Business owners have also voiced their concerns, announcing that they will temporarily stop using the digital wallet for transactions to ensure their finances’ safety.

GCash has not issued an official statement regarding the reports. As of now, it is unclear if all the incidents are connected, but we will keep you updated as more details follow.
