The deductions from GCash accounts were sent to an East-West bank account with ending 5329.
GCash responded by stating that there was no hacking incident after extending the downtime to investigate further.
This morning, the biometrics login option was disabled, leaving only the MPIN and OTP as a security feature.
Likewise, the Bank Transfer feature was also disabled.
