GCash is down, alleged hacking from bank transfers

GCash last night had an extended downtime due to reports from several GCash users that their accounts were deducted without any OTP confirmation.

The deductions from GCash accounts were sent to an East-West bank account with ending 5329.

GCash responded by stating that there was no hacking incident after extending the downtime to investigate further.
