GAC International Philippines, Inc. introduced several new electrified vehicles at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), including the pricing announcement for the GAC GN8 PHEV.
Also, GAC announced the local launch of the GAC GS8 HEV and previewed upcoming and existing models such as the GAC E8 HEV, GAC EMZOOM 2026, HYPTEC HT, and AION V.
Other units like the M6 Pro and EMKOO Hybrid were also shown for test drives.
According to the company, the GN8 PHEV is a 7-seater MPV with a plug-in hybrid setup and an electric driving range for city use.
Meanwhile, the GS8 HEV uses a 2.0-liter hybrid system with Toyota hybrid technology, paired with an E-Four all-wheel-drive system.
Other Previewed Vehicles
The introductory pricing for GS8 HEV, GN8 PHEV, HYPTEC HT, and AION V will be available until May 31, 2026.
GAC Philippines said the vehicles come with warranty coverage of up to 8 years for EV models and 5 years for combustion and hybrid models. Test drives for selected models are available during the auto show.
