Fujifilm instax mini Evo Cinema Premium Edition Unveiled

FUJIFILM India has launched the instax mini Evo Cinema, a new hybrid instant camera that can take photos and record videos, while also allowing users to print images instantly.

The instax mini Evo Cinema comes with a 1.54-inch rear LCD screen.

It uses a 1/5-inch 5MP CMOS sensor and captures still images at a resolution of 1920 × 2560. For video, the camera supports recording at 600 × 800 in Standard mode or up to 1080 × 1440 in High-Quality 2020 mode, both at 24fps in MP4 format.

The camera has an ISO range of 100 to 1600 (auto), shutter speeds from 1/4 to 1/8000 seconds, and an F2.0 aperture.

One of its key features is video-to-print. Recorded videos can be turned into QR codes and printed together with a photo on instax mini film. When scanned using a smartphone, the QR code allows users to replay or download the video.

Through the app, users can control the camera remotely, transfer photos and videos, update firmware, and print images (produced at 1600 × 600 resolution) directly from their phone in JPEG, PNG, or HEIF formats.

The app also allows users to combine video clips into videos up to 30 seconds long, add opening and ending templates, and create poster-style prints with text.

The Eras Dial offers 10 visual effects inspired by different decades, ranging from the 1930s to the 2020s. These include effects like 8mm film and CRT television, with adjustable strength and matching sound effects during video recording.

It includes a print lever, a clickable Eras Dial, an attachable viewfinder, and a grip accessory.

The built-in battery is rated for around 100 prints per charge. Connectivity-wise, the camera can connect to a smartphone app using Bluetooth 5.4 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
