Ford has introduced the new Ranger Sport+ 4×4 in the Philippines.
The Ranger Sport+ 4×4 features a black F-O-R-D grille, matte black fender flares, and a sport bar at the rear.
It is powered by a 2.0-liter Single Turbo diesel engine that produces 170 PS at 3,500 rpm and 405 Nm of torque from 1,750 to 2,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 4×4 drivetrain with an electronic locking rear differential.
The pickup has seating for five passengers and retains the same dimensions as the standard Ranger Sport 4×4.
It has a 3,270 mm wheelbase, around 235 mm of ground clearance, and a cargo bed measuring approximately 1,564 mm long, 1,584 mm wide, and 540 mm high. Payload capacity is rated at approximately 985 kg.
The Ford Ranger Sport+ 4×4 is now available in the Philippines with a suggested retail price of PHP 1,999,000.
The new variant comes with a 5-year warranty and adds several exterior styling updates over the standard Ranger Sport 4×4.
