Five Huawei Stores Sold a Combined Total Of Four Smartphone Models

At some point, five Huawei Experience stores that were visited were seen selling a combined total of four smartphone models in China.

According to a MyDrivers report (via Gizmochina), Huawei is facing a serious chip shortage in its homeland that led them to “abandon its low-end models entirely.” The employees of these stores revealed that they are selling fewer handsets now, although the reason wasn’t mentioned, it’s believed to be the chip shortage the world is experiencing since last year. Additionally, almost all models in these stores are now out of stock.

Huawei is trying its best to stay afloat during these dark times, especially for a company that’s also facing the US Entity List. While China is almost back to the pre-covid era, the demand for laptops, smartphones, and other work-from-home devices has been on the rise for the past year, with chip and OEM manufacturers failing to adhere to the incredible demand of the global market.
