BYD has officially launched the BYD Sealion 7 in the Philippines, a fully electric midsize SUV equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup.
The BYD Sealion 7 produces 530PS (523HP) and 690Nm of torque.
According to BYD, it can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds. It uses an 82.5kWh BYD Blade Battery with LFP chemistry and has a claimed range of up to 542km based on the NEDC cycle. The SUV also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
Inside, the vehicle comes with a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
For safety and driver assistance, the Sealion 7 includes a 360-degree camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Assistance, Blind Spot Detection, and Driver Attention Warning.
In the Philippines, the BYD Sealion 7 AWD is priced at PHP 2,588,000.
