Facebook is currently testing out a feature that will generally allow you to know if a friend is writing a comment. This was seen by various Facebook users, noticing a certain “A friend is writing a comment” phrase on their News Feed.
Facebook apparently engaged in this particular feature for people wanted their experience in Facebook to be more “real time” and should reflect a pretty decent time scope on their activities with their friends. However, the feature is yet to be given an exact date of being regular and is currently being tested on various countries and areas around the globe.
