This month more active users have been using Facebook since the implementation of Enhance Community Quarantine. If you are one of those, you will find many useful features on FB. One of those is the Crisis response tool, where people could access Safety Check, Community Help, and Articles related to an ongoing crisis.

Today Facebook announcing updates for Community Help, a place for people to request or offer help to neighbors, such as volunteering to deliver groceries or donating to a local food pantry or fundraiser. Access Community Help in the COVID-19 Information Center on Facebook or by visiting facebook.com/covidsupport. The said update will be available on a rollout the next few days in the UK, France, Australia, and Canada. And will be available in more countries by next coming weeks.

22Community help has previously been available during natural disasters as part of the company’s “Crisis Response” tools. Facebook has switched it on in more localized areas. Making it easier for people to request or offer help in their communities. Those seeking assistance can post about what they need, or filter existing offers. The page also includes links to fundraisers and Facebook’s coronavirus information center.
