DJI has officially released the Osmo Mobile 8 smartphone gimbal in the Philippines.
The gimbal weighs 370 grams and can support smartphones up to 300 grams and comes with a built-in 215 mm extension rod. The included phone clamp fits devices up to 10 mm thick and 84 mm wide.
This model introduces unlimited 360-degree horizontal pan rotation and upgraded ActiveTrack 7.0, which can now track people, dogs, and cats.
DJI is also offering a new Multifunctional Module that attaches to the gimbal. It includes a 2500–6000K LED fill light and expands object tracking capabilities.
The device connects over Bluetooth 5.3 and works with the DJI Mimo app. It also supports Apple DockKit, allowing tracking through the native iPhone camera app on iOS 18.5 or later.
Battery-wise, the Osmo Mobile 8 has a 3,350 mAh battery rated for up to 10 hours of use. It charges via USB-C and can also charge the phone while in use.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 is priced at PHP 7,499 it is now available through DJI stores and authorized retailers in the Philippines.
