The process of obtaining a personalized DITO number is relatively simple. Using this Service, you can create a personalized 11-digit number to commemorate a date or something or have a number that’s easy to remember. How amazing, right? What is a DITO number, and how to order one

The newest significant telecommunications provider in the Philippines, DITO Telecommunity Corporation, received a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity from the National Telecommunications Commission in July 2019. The Telecommunity Corporation is known for its connections to multinational giants, including Udenna Corporation, Chelsea Logistics Holdings, Inc., and China Telecommunications.

Steps:

Download the DITO Telecommunity App from Google Play, Apple App Store, or Huawei AppGallery if you are a new user of DITO. After opening the application, tap the “Get DITO Prepaid SIM Card.” button.

If you already have a DITO SIM and have already set up the App, scroll down on your dashboard and tap the “Choose your number” banner. 

At the end of the page, click the order your DITO SIM card button.

Next, choose your location, read the terms and conditions, and tick the boxes right after.

Enter the phone number of your choice. It’s important to know that only the last four digits of your phone number can be customized.

There are tons of DITO SIM cards in circulation, and the number you want is likely already taken. If that happens, you will be warned that the phone number you prefer is no longer available. As a result, you will need to choose another available number.  

Otherwise, you will see the number you selected below if a number is available. Tap the number to obtain it.

You need to input your personal information to receive the brand-new SIM card. You will need your contact information, email address, and shipping information.

Upon completing the form, you will be directed to a confirmation page. Ensure all the information is accurate, especially the delivery address. After verifying your details, tap checks out and wait for your personalized SIM card to arrive. 

But, you might be wondering if it is customized and delivered. How much does DITO SIM cost?

Well, it costs Php199 to get a DITO SIM card with a personalized phone number, but it also comes with the DITO LEVEL-UP 199 promo, which has 16GB of data, unlimited DITO-to-DITO calls, and 300 minutes of calls to other mobile networks, and unlimited texts to all mobile networks.

Is DITO SIM free delivery?

According to the Website, DITO SIMs delivered by third-party couriers may be subject to a delivery fee. Shopee or Lazada orders for DITO SIM will be delivered via their online shopping App partner’s courier and may incur a delivery fee depending on your location. Remember to check your order status via the link provided in your confirmation email.

What are the steps to set up DITO services on non-compatible phones?

Follow these four easy steps to set up your DITO SIM.

1. Install your newly purchased DITO SIM card on your mobile device.

2. Select “Mobile Network” under “Settings.” Next, select “Access point Name.”

3. You will need to type “Internet manually.dito.ph” in the APN field when you click “Add Button.”. Click “Save” when you are finished.

4. Access your “Mobile Data” account. Once your DITO SIM has been activated, you will receive a welcome SMS. The Welcome SMS will include a link to the DITO App, as well as your first login password.

Note that DITO cannot guarantee that you will be able to utilize all the features of our Service if you use a DITO SIM in a non-compatible phone. But, if you are within the DITO coverage area, you can still enjoy DITO data services and get the same high-speed data experience. Nevertheless, non-data services like VoLTE calls, regular calls, and SMS messages may be unavailable.
