Nevertheless, the Sony-Apple arrangement for camera gear still needs to be made more explicit, and from all indications, it will continue for a while. Several publications show Sony is reportedly working on a new sensor using semiconductor technologies. This sensor will reportedly let in lighter and reduce the likelihood of either underexposure or overexposure. There is no question that Apple’s next-generation iPhones will include that sensor.
