Honor launched its latest tablet last month in its home country of China – the Honor Tablet 8. A new Dawn Blue color version with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage for Â¥1,999 (around ₱16,500).

A 12-inch 2K LCD screen with a screen resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels is featured on the Honor Tablet 8. A thin 7.2mm bezel around the screen offers a 10:6 aspect ratio and 1.07 billion colors.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor powers the device, paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. On the front, there’s a 5MP camera for selfies and video calling and a 5MP camera on the back.

Rheinland hardware-level low blue light, Rheinland no flicker, and National Eye Engineering Center eye protection certifications are all included. For a better sound experience, Huawei also supports Histen sound effects and DTS:X Ultrasound.

With Magic UI 6.1, the tablet supports multi-screen collaboration, three-speed window adjustment, and new Smart desktop experiences. A 7,250mAh battery powers the Honor Tablet 8 and supports fast charging at 22.5W.

Pricing and Availability

In the Chinese market, the Mint Green color version of the tablet will be available from August 31, 2022. There is a 4GB RAM base model priced at ¥1,499 (approx. ₱12,300) and a 6GB RAM model priced at  ¥1,499 (approx. ₱12,300). Both models were already available in China, but the 8GB RAM model is new to the market.
