Google acknowledged the problem as an ‘ongoing issue’ with the Pixel Watch 2 for one user and provided a replacement unit that worked perfectly.

It highlights the importance of placing the watch correctly on the charging dock, as the new watch uses a four-pin connector, unlike its predecessor, which had wireless charging.
